THE FOUNDER'S STORY

I built this for my own window company. It worked.

After 20 years in the trades, I got tired of the lead generation treadmill. This is the story of how I stopped buying leads and started generating my own.

1

I started as a handyman.

Like a lot of people in this business, I started with a toolbelt and an old truck. I learned the trades by doing the work—drywall, trim, framing, and eventually windows and doors.

The problem wasn't doing the work; it was finding the work. You can have a perfect reputation, but if no one knows you exist, your calendar stays empty. Word of mouth is great, but it's not predictable. I needed a way to predictably put my business in front of people who were actively looking to spend money.

2

I taught myself web design.

I realized early on that the Yellow Pages were dying and the internet was taking over. So at night, after being on job sites all day, I started learning how to build websites. I learned HTML, CSS, and how search engines worked.

"It doesn't matter how perfect a website is. It's completely worthless if nobody finds it."

That realization shifted my entire focus to SEO (Search Engine Optimization). I didn't want a digital brochure; I wanted a machine that grabbed traffic from Google.

3

I specialized in SEO for life insurance leads.

Before applying this to my own contracting business, I ended up building sites in the highly competitive life insurance space. It was trial by fire. If you can rank a life insurance site and generate high-intent leads there, you can rank anything.

High-intent leads are everything. When someone searches "buy life insurance now" or "window replacement cost," they are ready to buy. They just need a frictionless way to get a quote.
4

I started a window company and built it a website.

Armed with real SEO knowledge, I went back to the trades and started a window replacement company. I built a clean, fast website optimized for my local city. Because I knew exactly how to target the right local keywords, the site quickly climbed to the top of Google.

Suddenly, we had more exclusive leads than we knew what to do with. We weren't fighting five other contractors for a race to the bottom on price. We were the only company they called.

I built the app to run the business properly.

The phone was ringing, but doing estimates over the phone or sending salespeople out blind was inefficient. I needed a quoting engine that customers could use themselves on the website, and that my salespeople could use on tablets in the home. So I built it.

Room-by-room quoting lets customers visualize the project.
Lead dashboard tracks every interaction.
In-home tablet app standardizes the sales process.
Auto supplier PO removes manual data entry errors.
Built-in SEO panel keeps the traffic flowing.
Full CMS makes updating the site trivial.
6

I'm retired now. And I want this to work for you.

I've stepped away from the day-to-day of window contracting. But this software asset I built is too good to sit on a shelf. I've stripped out the company-specific branding, polished the interface, and packaged it up so any window company can deploy it instantly.

My promise is simple: If you use this platform, you will look more professional, you will capture higher-intent leads, and you will stop wasting money on shared lead marketplaces.
